Things I want for New Horizons

First, I need to clear something up. You know I haven't been posting for months now and I know that too. The reason is, school started again, and plus, nobody reads these. Anyway, you may know that Animal Crossing New Horizons is coming out next March. If you don't know already, I'm a HUGE Animal Crossing fan, having played all of them except the originals (Including Population: Growing, all the Animal Forests, etc). But I have played Wild World and up.

Things I want in New Horizons:

•More depth to the Roost Café. More drinks and treats, a Brewster Amiibo Figure, more things to do there, K.K. Slider goes back in.

•A new form of the campground, maybe the Docks, where instead of RV's there are small house boats.

•An alternative to crafting. The one thing I don't like about New Horizons is the crafting. Maybe it'll turn out OK, hopefully there's no Pocket Camp wait after crafting something. I still hope there are shops like Re-Tail and the Nook store.

•More holidays. Maybe bring back old ones like the exercise thing from Population: Growing.

•A Golden Fish. One thing that would be cool is to have a medium size fish known as the Golden Fish that sells like a Golden Stag.

•Brutus. Look it up.

•In-Game Nintendo Switch. It can play either D.I.E. or Puzzle League, or another game. Maybe bring back Population: Growing's retro game players.

I would love to have all these in game, but sadly, neither Nintendo nor the general public will see these ideas. Sorry for not posting in a while, Nobody.

I'm a Lucario Main now?

Yeah, I switched over from Ridley to Lucario partly because I was going on a Disney Cruise (Another good time for a shout-out here to my brother, DCL Kid) and they had Smash Wii U to play at Edge, the middle youth club for 11 to 14 year olds. But that's not the main reason. The reason was, I get up to high percentages often with my play style. Lucario takes advantage of that with his aura becoming stronger the more damage he takes. Also, he gained aura even faster when he was down stocks so that works out with my skill and DCL Kid's skill. (He's better than I am)

Mario Strikers on Switch?

At E3 this year, there was gameplay of Luigi's Mansion 3. In a corridor in the hotel the game takes place in, there was a picture of Mario doing a Megastrike from Mario Strikers Charged.
You can see it on the right side of the hallway. This can either be a reference, and the second one to Charged in the Luigi's Mansion series, the first being the elevator in Dark Moon, it played Charged's pause music. Or this can be a little early leak for the next game, 12 years later. Hopefully we get a new game.

Go Back.

Go back to a simpler time. Go play games you haven't played in years. Go back and play Minecraft, go and play Pokemon. Hey, even go play Pac-Man of that's what you grew up with. That's the thing with videogames. Your Minecraft dog is waiting for you, your Pokemon are itching to battle. I grew up with the Wii and GameCube. Metroid Prime, Wii Sports, Mario Kart Wii.

The best Smash Bros. Ultimate controller?

Recently, we acquired a GameCube wireless controller for the Switch and it really has seemed worth it. I was stage-spiking, wombo-comboing like never before with my Ridley. I have never been really good at Smash Ultimate but I seem to be showing improvement with this new controller.

Tomodachi Life Theory

Oh, I sure hope that MatPat can crack into this one.  If you ever played Tomodachi Life on the 3DS before, you know all the weird stuff your Miis get into.  But the only ones that can leave the island, except on a vacation, are the kids your married islanders have.  So I have a theory that the Tomodachi Life island is a prison.  When you collect the donations by the fountain every day, the prisoners are slowly paying off their fines.  They were sent to an island instead of a normal jail.  Think about it.  They live in small, one-room apartments, and can even give them a prison cell room theme!

Season 9!

Yesterday, Fortnite: Season 9 started! I was away for the live event on Saturday, but an Ali-A video later I was all caught up.  Then we got the teasers.  They hinted at the word NEO, meaning new.  We have three new locations.  Neo Tilted is where Tilted Towers was pre-eruption, mega Mall in Retail Row's spot, and pressure plant is where the volcano is.  The Pump Shotgun has been vaulted, in exchange for the Combat Shotgun, a trash version of the pump, only found in Rare, Epic, and Legendary.  The Tommy Gun is back, and I believe the Heavy Shotgun is not far behind.

I am going to make something amazing pretty soon.

Today I will start making the Laws of Potato.  This will be a very long post constantly getting updated and formed.  However, I am looking for another editor, so if you know me in person, let me know if you are interested.  The Laws of Potato will be made using the power of memes and brain juice.  So, yeah, that's it.

Fortnite: A Story

A long time ago (two years), a company on the small side called Epic Games set out to make a game that combines the zombie survival of games like Left4Dead and the building elements of Minecraft. In 2011, a trailer was released for a grim, horror-type survival game called Fortnite. Fast-forward about 6 years and Fortnite was initially released. The game was released for $40 on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.

The game wasn't nearly as popular as games like PUBG, which had been recently released and already a popular title, or Minecraft. So Epic knew they had to do something. They looked at PUBG and thought that they could incorporate the Battle Royale theme into Fortnite as a different game mode. And, just two months after Fortnite's early access release, Fortnite: Battle Royale was released.

Way back in September 2017, it didn't have a lot of the stuff out today. No Tilted, no Ali-A memes, no build battles (wish I started that early). It was originally planned to be a add-on to a now-named Save The World mode, but Epic made a good choice to release it for free.

The original Battle Royale mode had no skins available, no Duos, no LTMs, so it was basically a bunch of defaults running around shooting each other and bush camping. No one really was an excellent builder, at least for today's standards.

Eventually, Season 1 started. For the first time, players could buy skins and cosmetics. Instead of the battle pass, you had to level up enough to unlock the items, and then buy them with V-Bucks. To get the entire season's worth of items, you had pay a total of 4,400 V-Bucks.

Season 2 brought one of the most innovative cosmetic unlock systems so creative and well-built that other games like PUBG and even non-Battle Royale games like Rocket League incorporated. It's called the Battle Pass. By doing challenges you could unlock skins, emotes and other cosmetics.

Season 3 started the storyline with Omega and Carbide having battles and facing off until it all revealed to be just a movie.

At the start of Season 4, Dusty Depot was changed into Dusty Divot, a wide, open, crater with a research base in the center. Inside the base, they researched the meteorite, which housed the Visitor. Towards the end of Season 4, there was a rocket being built in a secret mountain fortress. At the end of Season 4, the rocket launched, almost obliterating Tilted Towers and creating a giant portal, now known as a rift, in the sky.

Season 5 started off big, with the biggest map changes anyone had ever seen at that time, with Anarchy Acres replaced with Lazy Links, and Moisty Mire replaced with Paradise Palms, Dusty now has trees, and of course a sprawling, rocky desert area with a junkyard, what people now call Little Mexico, a rest stop, race track, and restaurant.  Of course, the city with the hotel, keyboard shop, endless swimming pools and three vending machine spawns.  Season 5 is also the time I started playing Fortnite.  I look back at those days, the Drum Gun days, where it was so easy to get a win, compared to nowadays.

Dusty now is a fertile, forested crater less appealing to snipers from that mountain by Salty.  Eventually, the Cube was created near Paradise, and made its way from location to location, leaving runes on the ground and eventually stopped at Loot Lake, sinking, changing the surface to a bouncy, purple substance, and seemingly disappearing forever, right?  Wrong.

Season 6 brought some new changes to the way we play Fortnite, with Shadow Stones, corrupted areas and, of course, the Island.  Apparently, the cube was not done yet.  It rose up, wearing the island in the center of the lake as a hat, with players able to fly around it in a cyclone.  Eventually, it made its merry way on back to Loot Lake, and appeared to leak purple goo into the whirlpool.  And it turned grayer everyday.  And as I was preparing to hop into a match and watch the live event, guess what?  We had to go to Kohl's.  So it exploded, if you've been on this site since October, I covered it already.

And then there was Season 7.  As the iceberg got dangerously closer and closer to the island, it made impact and added on a big chunk of land on to the southwestern quadrant.  Guys, right now we need to pay a respect to Greasy and Flush.  Those were my second- and third-favorite places to land (Shifty, baby!).  Planes were also added and removed in this season.  The Prisoner slowly melted free along with the castle at Polar Peak.  The Ice King showed off his power in the Ice Storm event and the zombies came with it.  Of course, I was away.

As Season 7 came to a close, the snow and ice melted some more, barely touching Tilted Towers.  And then there was Season 8!  What's not to love about dragons, a volcano, pirates and bananas?  I don't know what Season 8 has in store just yet, but as soon as I do, I will let you know (but with my work ethic and habits, probably not).

So did you guys enjoy this?  It was sitting unfinished in my draft box for months and finally got it done.   This is probably the longest post I will ever write (work ethic again).

It is a very sad time.

So, this season brought us some great skins and locations.  I, for one, love Lazy Lagoon.  But it also brought us a very sad,, sad, fact.  In the lobby, have a look around you. Chances are, you won't see a Default. What you will see, my friends, are SOCCER SKINS. These are the worst!

Top 3 games of 2018

I added two new "gadgets" to the sidebar, next to where your eyes are right now. The first, a Google Translate option, because apparently, Game Potato has been blowing up in Portugal. Next, we have a list of my top three games I am playing currently. These will usually be newer games. Currently, as you might be able to see, depending on the time you are reading this, my top three games are Fortnite, Smash Ultimate, and PUBG Mobile.
And now, ladies and gentlenoobs, my top three games of 2018! And no, the Fortnite Seasons don't count.

3. Pokemon: Let's go Pikachu! and Let's go Eevee!: These were two anticipated games, and while I don't actually have these games, the compatibility with Pokemon GO is clever.

2. Luigi's Mansion 3DS: The first adventure of the great green ghostbuster himself is already one of my favorite games, so when it came out on 3DS, it was a big win.

1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Hands-down the best Switch game ever. Taking every single smash and combining it with new gameplay and fighters. (I do want a remake of Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode, though.)

Happy 2019!

My second full-odds shiny?
